Believe and Achieve: Lessons from Running in Ladakh

My first formal run in a marathon event was in Ladakh, 2018.

As an absolute beginner starting in such a difficult terrain, you may want to consider me crazy for such a decision but I kept telling myself what if it ends up becoming one of the best decisions of my life?

In hindsight, it did.

Most of our fears are baseless. It’s just in the mind.

If you keep telling yourself you can’t do something, there is a high chance you won’t be able to do it. But, having a positive attitude towards it will exponentially increase your chances of success.

In interviews as well, I’ve seen promising candidates with immense potential downplaying their strengths out of underconfidence in their abilities.

It’s in you, listen to your heart and take the leap. Success is waiting for you on the other side.

What’s your take on the same?
