There are no good or bad people, it depends on the situation.
And these situations are what make us human beings and define our lives.
If I leave you in a place with nothing to eat or drink for days and then give you just a single bowl of rice, you wouldn’t think about giving it to someone else or sharing it with others.
Will that make you a selfish or mean person? I don’t believe so. Most importantly, will you become self-centric for the rest of your life following this incident given you live in a perfectly normal condition? You wouldn’t.
And that’s human nature, defined by the circumstances thrown by life at them. If we dissect it, we can transform people and change their lives.
Circumstances play a significant role in shaping our actions and reactions. Putting someone in a challenging situation can bring out different aspects of their personality. It’s not about being inherently good or bad; it’s about responding to the circumstances we find ourselves in.
Next time, try to approach judgment with understanding and compassion.
Instead of labeling someone, let’s seek to understand their journey and offer support when needed to others, and contribute to creating a more compassionate world.
P.S.: Highlighting the same message, recently at the Tata Mumbai Marathon 2024, a marathoner clocked his worst timing. He managed to save a life on track, hats off to him. https://timesofindia.indiatimes.com/city/mumbai/marathoner-halts-on-track-saves-collapsed-runners-life/articleshow/107066800.cms
